For the second year running, Unity met Colchester in a semi-final of the EACF Golf Handicap League. The match was played at Newport Croquet Club, whose lawns played very well. Thanks to Anne Taylor for overseeing the match. Unity narrowly lost, taking 8 games to Colchester’s 10.

Unity played Colchester at Newport, Cambs in a semi-final of the EACF GC Handicap League on 08 September 2024. Ken Andrews, Colin Whyles (captain), Rob Worley (L-R above) played for Unity. Kevin Croot, Marilyn Wood, Alex Wood, and Marion de Landmeter played for Colchester. Colchester were the worthy winners, taking 12 games against Unity’s 6.

Unity played their semi-final against Colchester at Newport on Sunday, 10 September on one of the hottest days of the year.

Unity won their third game of the season away at Bury St Edmunds on the 4th August 2023, beating Bury St Edmunds 12-6.

Unity won their second game of the season and remain unbeaten in the league this year.
