Unity beat Mid-Suffolk 8 – 3
Unity played the first leg of the Very Local League final at home against Mid-Suffolk on Friday, 22nd September 2023.
We made a strong start in the first round of games, with Colin Whyles and Susan Vipond winning the opening doubles, and Simon Ironside and Rob Worley winning their singles.
Rob, Colin and Simon added further singles wins to give us a good lead to take into the second leg.
The second leg of the final is away at Mid-Suffolk on Friday 6th October when hopefully we can win the league for the second year in a row.
Thanks to Lauren and Susan for providing the tea and their help with the hospitality after the game.
